Below I will present you with an ordered list of steps to follow that helps me focus on all aspects when facing a new project.
Understanding the User:
Understanding the user is essential for design, as it allows us to know who they are, what their needs are, and how they interact with the product. Conducting prior research on the type of user our design is aimed at helps us focus on important aspects, such as age, location, gender, among others.
Product Understanding:
Before you start designing, it’s crucial to have a clear understanding of your product’s goals. For example, if you’re designing a mobile app for task management, your goals might be to improve user productivity and organization. Design Consistency: Maintaining consistency across all elements of the interface, from typography to colors to the layout of elements, ensures a smooth and familiar user experience.
Accessibility: A good UX/UI design should be accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities. Considering aspects such as contrast, readability, and easy navigation is crucial.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Integrating user feedback into the design process is essential to identify areas for improvement and constantly evolve the experience offered.
